The Charlecote Pheasant Reopens as Part of Vine Hotels

Warwickshire’s historic 70-bedroom hotel and meeting venue, the Charlecote Pheasant, has been reopened this month as part of the Vine Hotels portfolio.

The Charlecote Pheasant is situated in the pretty Warwickshire village of Charlecote, close to Stratford-Upon-Avon, just four miles from the M40 and 18 miles from Birmingham Airport.  The Hotel offers a choice of up to six meeting rooms, all with natural daylight.  The Hotel was originally Benham’s Farm, dating back to the 16th century, and is a venue that exudes charm with its original beams, character furnishings and exposed brickwork.

There are a range of conference and meeting rooms which can accommodate 6 to 160 delegates.

Originally the hayloft, The Hampton Suite stands separate from the main building and accommodates up to 160 guests for all types of events. This self-contained building also has its own reception space and bar. The Walton, Sherbourne and Barford Rooms are purpose-built training rooms and private dining is also available.  All the spaces have windows that you can open for fresh air. When it’s time for a coffee break, or some inspiration, delegates can step out into the extensive gardens.  Grounds also available for on-site team building and outdoor meetings. https://charlecotepheasanthotel.co.uk/meetings-events/

Vine Hotels adds the Charlecote Pheasant to its growing portfolio of hotels and venues, which also includes five properties in Sheffield, the Best Western Cresta Court hotel in Altrincham and the Mercure Dolphin Southampton Centre hotel. More details at: www.vinehotels.co.uk

This welcome news comes after an unsettled period for the Stratford hotel, which was forced to shut in May 2020 when its previous occupier was placed into administration. Commenting on the development, Vine Hotels chief executive Garin Davies said:” I am delighted to welcome the Charlecote Pheasant to the Vine Hotels family.

“It was clearly a popular local business and a busy events venue, which in part can be explained by its character and fantastic location. The Hotel combines the tranquillity of a rural setting, with a range of meetings rooms, outdoor spaces, and the easy access to motorways and airport that business delegates look for.”

Garin added: “As well as reinstating many of the staff members previously made redundant, and creating new additional posts, we have been delighted to re-open this month with all Covid-19 safety requirements in place.  We see the excellent potential for this Hotel and have developed a comprehensive marketing and customer service strategy to secure long-term commercial success.”
